If anyone was to ask me what my favorite area is on Lake Lanier (and yes they often do) I would tell them it's the Shady Grove Rd peninsula part. This area of Cumming, Ga in southern Lanier has numerous high end lakefront homes and mansions. It also offers seclusion, tranquility, and low crime and easy access to highway 400 and Browns Bridge Rd.
