View all Lake Lanier Properties with double slip docks

Double slip docks (and double slip permits) are rare on Lake Lanier. I would say that only about 10% of lakefront properties on this lake have a double slip. Why? Because in order for the Army Corp. of Engineers to have issued you a permit for one- you need not only to be on plenty of deeper water, but also have a good distance between neighboring docks (usually 50 feet or more) and on a larger cove of water at least 200 feet wide. But in the southern part of the lake, such as Cumming, Ga, there seems to be a loose interpretation of what these dimensions mean (hence, some docks are too close to one another).
