Harbour Point is my favorite subdivision, hands down, on all of Lake Lanier of Georgia in 2013. I have been selling on Lanier for 10 years and I know there is no other neighborhood that offers a drought free- multiple 200+ private slip shaded boat marina. About 1/2 the properties here offer a deeded slip at the huge private marina on over 40 plus feet of water. This gated year-round lake community has a spectacular clubhouse, outdoor pool and hot tub with intense lake views, a gated entrance, and quiet streets and cul-de-sacs. Homes here in 2013 range between $400,000 to as much as $3,500,000. The higher end homes here offer great lake views and most have over 7 bedrooms with a 3 to 4 car garage. Most people will drive their golf cart down to the clubhouse, small restaurant , and marina. There is a wide mix of people from all parts of the country living here ( I know- I have sold to many from Ca, FL, and NY here for ex.). You can get to highway 400 in about 15 minutes and get to downtown Gainesville in about 10 (located Gainesville, Ga 30506). You'll never be bored here, the activities and clubs are endless for old and young. And you will never feel like you can't get somewhere else quick (like to Atlanta in 1 hour, fine restaurants in 10 minutes, or to the Georgia Mountains in 45 minutes).

From Western Atlanta, take I-85 to I-985 exit 16 and go west on Hwy 53 11 miles to entrance on the right at Harbour Point Parkway Gainesville, Georgia.
From Marietta/Alpharetta, take I-400 north to Keith Bridge Road exit 17, turn right (head East) 6 miles- turn right (East) on Hwy 53- go 4 miles to entrance on left.
